Just Announced: Sierra Ferrell to play in 2024 Shell Yeah! Benefit Series

Sierra Ferrell, the eccentric songbird hailing from West Virginia, is bringing her Shoot for the Moon Tour to the Overton Park Shell on August 24th!

Ferrell is the first artist announced as part of this year's Shell Yeah! Benefit Series, an annual fundraising event for the Overton Park Shell nonprofit organization. The series features a number of ticketed concerts which support the Shell's mission and programming, such as the Orion Free Concert Series

Our ability to make The Shell more accessible, and keep the majority of our programming free for everyone, is important and powered—in-part—by our ticketed, fundraising concerts. In an effort to lead a sustainable organization, I am grateful for the public’s support for each of our Shell Yeah! Concerts.”— Natalie Wilson, Executive Directo

Aligning with the release of her new album, Trail of Flowers, Sierra Ferrell sets off on a national tour. With nine sold-out shows—needless to say, she captures crowds with “a beautifully strange magic” that leaves many craving more.

“I’m just trying to put words and melodies together, and build something people can pour their feelings into—all their happiness and sorrows; so that it changes their reality a little bit, giving them some comfort,” Ferrell said. “To me music is like medicine. Whenever I write a song, it feels healing to me. I know it can heal other people, too.”

Ticket sales go live via Ticketmaster to the public on March 22nd at 10AM.

Pre-sale access will be available for Shell Circle Members on March 21st.
