A very special night of extraordinary music performances paying tribute to the legendary Jim Dickinson. Special music guests include North Mississippi Allstars, Lucero, Mojo Nixon, Sons of Mudboy, Jimbo Mathis & the Tri-State Coalition, and Shannon McNally. This special night is free and open to all.
Saturday October 15
A magical evening that will transport you to a golden age of the Overton Park Shell. An all-star cast featuring an orchestra of Memphis' finest musicians and vocalists performing the songs of legends in a legendary time. This special evening is a benefit for Levitt Shell. Tickets are $35 Sustainer, $100 Benefactor. In case of rain, Benefit will be held on Sunday, Oct 16.

With a sound dancing between gutbucket soul, N'awlins grit-down funk and horn fueled Motown pop, Mingo Fishtrap is an anomaly in the contemporary music scene.
Sunday September 18
New Orleans native and Memphis resident, Brian "Breeze" Cayolle's rich and soulful saxophone style was born from the traditions of the Jazz, Blues and R&B of his hometown. World renown for his strong and spirited tenor saxophone, he has performed with many of the great artists of his time like Allen Toussaint and Elvis Costello.
Thursday September 22
Brooklyn-based indie songwriter, has toured with artists such as Regina Spektor, Motion City Soundtrack and Aimee Mann. Her songs have been heard on Weeds, Nurse Jackie, Privileged, Life Unexpected, and in Victoria's Secret stores the world over.
Friday September 23
Alternating between upbeat rock numbers with sing-along choruses and slower, more introspective alt pop songs, this Toronto band plays progressive and lyrically driven music that is strongly rooted in Celtic tradition -- from the storytelling to the bagpipes.
Saturday September 24
The best in local Latin talent will be featured, encompassing all styles of music. Hosted by Marcella Pinilla, featured artists include Banda Ahullido, Alfepado and The Glo.

The 2010 Official State Musician of Texas is an award-winning songwriter. Her originality, creativity, and enthusiasm bring a fresh meaning to the well-worn phrase "living life to the fullest."

Hailing from Connecticut, the Nashville-based Alternate Routes deliver an energetic blend of folk, rock and alt-country.

Driving gypsy jazz rhythms, acoustic guitars, upright bass and violin lay the foundation for mesmerizing vocal harmonies and fantastic stories. If Django Reinhardt, the cast of Stomp and the Beatles all had a party at Tim Burton's house, Caravan of Thieves would be the band they'd hire.

This 17-piece University of Memphis jazz orchestra has a long reputation of musical excellence. They have performed classic and modern jazz at the IAJE and the Jazz Education Network conferences. They have toured Europe and have recorded 2 CD's.

We bring you the ultimate Blues guitarist legend, Hubert Sumlin in a special performance with the Kenny Brown Band!! Best known for his groundbreaking work with Howlin' Wolf on classic tracks such as "Built For Comfort" "Killing Floor" and "Wang Dang Doodle", the Grammy nominated Sumlin has performed with legends from Muddy Waters to James Cotton and the Rolling Stones, and influenced guitarists from Jeff Beck to Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Juno nominees and winners of the 2010 Canadian Folk Music Award for Vocal Group of the Year,?Dala have come a long way in a short time. Drawing upon influences like The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Bob Dylan, Dala write songs that are both catchy and insightful. The duo create lush harmonies that have become their trademark.

Diblo Dibala, often known simply as Diblo, is a Congolese soukous musician, known as "Machine Gun" for his speed and skill on the guitar. His scorching guitar leads will leave you breathless, and when your hand is grabbed and you're swept up onstage to dance with the band, you'll close your eyes and suddenly be transported to Kinshasa.
