World renown for his strong and spirited tenor saxophone, he has performed with many of the great artists of his time like Allen Toussaint and Elvis Costello.

This 17-piece University of Memphis jazz orchestra has a long reputation of musical excellence. They have performed classic and modern jazz at the IAJE and the Jazz Education Network conferences. They have toured Europe and have recorded 2 CD's.
