On Friday, October 27 from 4-7pm, The Mike Curb Institute for Music and its students will present Respect Fest 2023. This concert series was created by Curb Fellows in 2019 to celebrate diversity, foster community, and amplify underrepresented voices in Memphis music, and we are thrilled to partner with the Overton Park Shell this year and welcome their newly launched Shell on Wheels to campus!

The Shell on Wheels will be parked on Thomas Lane between Barrett Library and Mallory Gym, activating that wonderful green space. There will be food trucks on hand, activities, and a great lineup of Memphis artists and Rhodes students highlighted by the amazing Talibah Safiya!
